this conference, we invite those who can attend for what will sure be an
intriguing and thought-provoking event.

Come to Introducing Time in Design, the only 24-hour conference on
design and sustaining product value. October 16 and 17 in Eindhoven, in
the old Philips factory and former modern art museum Van Abbe. Lectures
by John Thackara, Ezio Manzini, Hans Achterhuis, Tim Cooper, Alexander
Rose, Brian Eno, Stuart Walker and many others. They provide the theory.
The Magic Rooms provide the practical examples and leisure: they change
shape every couple of hours. A Magic Rooms can be an exhibition, a
workshop, a dance experience, a lounge room. Magic Rooms are filled by
DROOG, Echte Welvaart, UNEP, William Wilson, Jurgen Bey, Ed van Hinte,
The Long Now  and many, many others. Around sixty events will happen.
 
In between activities there is ample time to rest and eat and drink and
drift on the flow of time. The program is rich. There is no need to keep
up with everything. Participants can compose their own program and
change it as time goes by. If there is too much of a crowd in one room,
try another. You are your own time. We will take care of the book
afterwards.
